The Canaryfulness and Quito Guide proposals were imposed in the grand finale of the “Chatbots Tourism Awards 2020” organized by Segittur and Fitur

 

Lanzarote, January 24, 2020.- ‘Taro’, the conversational assistant of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote, imposed himself on Canaryfulness (relaxing sounds of the nature of the Canary Islands) and Quito Guide (which answers any doubt about Quito) in the tourist destination category of the “Chatbots Tourism Awards 2020”, a contest organized by SEGITTUR and FITUR, with the collaboration of Planeta Chatbot, which aims to recognize the most innovative chatbots and conversational technology solutions to improve the experience of tourists before, during and after their trip.

The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Board of Directors of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism, María Dolores Corujo, present at the ceremony held in the setting of Fitur Know How & Export with the CEO of the Entity, Benjamin Perdomo, congratulated the “team of the ICT department of the Centers, which has created and developed an initiative that puts Lanzarote at the forefront of cognitive tourism through an innovative and sustainable tool, which offers reliable and proven information on the work of César Manrique, and on the island, in general, in a friendly and interactive way to go one step further in improving the visitor experience. ”

Taro is a project directed by the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) department of the Centers, which is enriched by the work done by the Customer Experience team and the contributions of the users themselves.
